Match Review Panel – JLT Week 4

GREATER Western Sydney star Jeremy Cameron and Toby Greene are free to play in the Giants’ opening round clash despite being cited by the Match Review Panel for incidents in the JLT Community Series clash against North Melbourne.

Both can accept $1000 fines – Cameron for his punch to the stomach of Roos’ defender Scott Thompson and Greene for misconduct against Sam Wright in Friday night’s clash at Manuka Oval.

Also up for $1000 are Geelong’s Mitch Duncan for rough conduct on Joe Daniher, North Melbourne’s Jy Simpkin for striking Giant Adam Tomlinson, and Port Adelaide’s Hamish Hartlett for striking Hawthorn skipper Jarryd Roughead.

The MRP also looked at incidents involving Richmond spearhead Jack Riewoldt, Roos midfielder Shaun Higgins, Fremantle big man Jon Griffin and Gold Coast co-captain Steven May before giving them the all-clear.
