Dee’s cancer shock

MELBOURNE forward Jesse Hogan has been diagnosed with cancer.

The Age is reporting 22-year-old Hogan, who was listed as missing Saturday’s win over Adelaide due to illness, has a form of testicular cancer.

The diagnosis has come only weeks following the death of his father.

Hogan has played 45 games and kicked 94 goals since making his debut in Round 1, 2015.

A statement is expected to be released by the Demons later today.
