AFL Final Changes – Round 17

DAMIEN Hardwick has reacted savagely to Richmond’s poor performance in Round 16 by making four unforced changes for Sunday’s clash with Brisbane at the MCG.

Taylor Hunt, Connor Menadue, Sam Lloyd and Tyson Stengle have all been axed, replaced by Nick Vlastuin, Ivan Soldo, Anthony Miles and Nathan Broad.

A week after playing his 100th game, Rohan Bewick has been dropped by the Lions, as have Archie Smith and Matthew Hammelmann.

Young gun Josh Schache, Cedric Cox and Ben Keays have been included.

West Coast has confirmed the return of Josh Kennedy from a calf injury, while Will Schofield, Chris Masten and Jackson Nelson will also line up against Fremantle.

Scott Lycett (shoulder), Malcom Karpany (quad), Eric Mackenzie (hamstring) and Sharrod Wellingham go out of the side that lost to Port Adelaide.

The Dockers have welcomed back former captain David Mundy and Lee Spuur in place of Tommy Sheridan (hamstring) and Brady Grey.

Carlton and the Western Bulldogs have both made mass changes for their meeting at the MCG.

The Blues have named Ciaran Byrne, Dylan Buckley, Alex Silvagni, Blaine Boekhorst and Nick Graham in place of Patrick Cripps (broken leg), Simon White (knee), David Cunningham (hip), Harrison Macreadie and Ciaran Sheahan.

Skipper Bob Murphy is back for the Bulldogs along with Shane Biggs, Bailey Williams and debutant Lewis Young.

Premiership captain Easton Wood (suspension), Matthew Boyd (Achilles), Fletcher Robets and Clay Smith will be missing from the team that was well beaten by Adelaide.
