Third fatal crash in NSW's Hunter Valley

Three people have died in three separate crashes in the NSW Hunter region in the past 24 hours.

On Thursday evening a motorcyclist died in hospital following a collision with a car in Woodville.

Earlier the same day a 63-year-old died and two people were injured in a head-on crash on the Golden Highway near the Singleton army base.

In an accident on Wednesday night, a 19-year-old Rutherford man died after his car veered off the road and hit a power pole near Maitland.
