$2.4 Million 'Found By Roadside'

A truck driver caught with $2.4 million in cash in his rig has faced court.

Defence told the court Melbourne man Adrian Miller found the cash in bushes by the roadside ... when he stopped to change a tyre ... before then being pulled-over by police at Merbein South on April 5.

The Sunraysia Daily says the magistrate described that claim as 'ridiculous'.

Defence counsel told the court while the find was 'odd' it was not enough to lead to conviction.

The Magistrate refused bail. The case will return to court in October.
