Road Horror: Double Fatality on Sturt Highway
UPDATE: 2:50pm - Two people have died after two vehicles collided head-on west of Euston this morning. A utility and a sedan collided while travelling on the Sturt Highway near the intersection of Tapaulin Road (near Old Euston Road), 35km west of Euston, about 6.45am today (Sunday 16 July 2017).
The female utility driver, and sole occupant, died at the scene. A male rear seat passenger in the sedan has died.
A second man, also travelling in the rear of the sedan, along with the sedan driver both sustained critical injuries.

Earlier: 12:45pm - The Sturt Highway remains closed at Gol Gol after an accident this morning.
Emergency services and crash investigators are at the scene.

Ambulance Victoria says a man in his 30s suffered leg injuries and was flown by fixed-wing aircraft from Mildura to Melbourne ... before being moved to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition.
The condition of other people involved in the accident is unknown.
RIVER1467 understands the two-vehicle accident to be fatal, however NSW Police is yet to confirm details.
Earlier: The Sturt Highway has closed in both directions after a serious accident at Gol Gol this morning.
