The Yelta levee has been compromised with water flowing into low lying areas around the Grain Corp facility.
Authorities say locals on Hoyle Road are likely to be impacted and the northern end of Meridian Road is closed from Yelta Road to the Abbotsford Bridge , as is Bunker Road.
A separate levee has been built as a contingency to protect the grain facility to enable it to continue operating.

A heavy vehicle truck detour has been activated to enable access via Paschendale Avenue & Fifth Street.
