The Murray River’s sitting at 38.15 metres at Mildura and expected to remain at that level for at least the next week.
Authorities believe it could rise another 15 centimetres in the middle of next week.
Watch and act messages remain in place along the Murray between Red Cliffs and the South Australian border, while there’s an emergency warning for residents in parts of Mildura, Nichols Point and Bruces Bend with locals being told it’s not safe to return.
