Coomealla Golf Club has had its front nine holes inundated by flood waters.
The club says there was a break in the levee on Friday with water moving fast and the decision made on the weekend to close the course indefinitely.
There are also concerns for the rest of the course.

The clubroom has been cleared, but volunteers are being called on to help with sandbagging from 10:00 this morning.
Meantime, local members are being invited to participate in competitions at Riverside Golf Club for comp fees only.
