Water supply not expected to be interrupted

Lower Murray Water is assuring locals it’s crews are working hard to make sure it’s prepared to continue providing vital services to customers during the flood crisis.

It’s not expecting water supply interruptions within the irrigation districts due to the rising Murray River.

And the water authority says it’s drinking water is safe to drink, but admits the treatment plants are taking extra time to bring the water up to national standards due to the poor raw water quality.
