Council updates locals about flood concerns

Locals have turned out for a community meeting at the Mildura Sporting Precinct to hear the latest about the flooding situation.

Residents have been told no floods are the same, and floods on the Murray will last for some time.

Representatives from police, the council and other agencies addressed the crowd.

Meantime, community drop in sessions will be held next Sunday in Wentworth and Buronga.

The Wentworth session is any time between 9:00am and 11:00am at the Wentworth Town Hall

Corner Adelaide & Short Street, and the Buronga session any time between 2:00pm and 4:000pm at the Midway Community Centre.
