Semi-mature trees could be planted along local streets.
Mildura Rural City Council has opened nominations for its Cool It Street Program, hoping to improve the looks of streetscapes and enhance urban biodiversity.
To be eligible streets have to be at least five-years old with no or little trees on nature strips.

Resident can nominate their street, or a section of their street, by completing a simple online form at www.mildura.vic.gov.au/Cool-It
