Curlwaa boat ramp reopens

The Curlwaa Boat Ramp has reopened to the public.

Wentworth Shire Council says the pontoon’s been re-installed following the floods.

It’s one of several boat ramps that have reopened, however others remain closed including at Dareton, Pomona, Two Rivers Ski reserve and Wentworth.

In further signs that the repairs after flooding is moving forward, the Wentworth and Dareton Houseboat Sewerage Pump Out Facilities (EDS) are now open as well.

The Buronga Houseboat Sewerage Pump Out Facility (Buronga EDS) remains closed and is anticipated to open late February 2023 due to the switchboard removal due to flood waters.
