Funding for the Nowingi Adventure Park project could be re-allocated to build other playgrounds within the Mildura municipality.
A report to Mildura councillors says the riverfront park has been delayed due to the flooding and it’s sensible to bring other playground projects forward to build this financial year.
The $750,000 project was expected to be started in July of last year and take about 3 months to complete.

The recommendation is to defer the Nowingi Adventure Park Project until the 2023/24 financial year.
A decision on the recommendation is due to be made at tomorrow’s council meeting.
