The Mildura Health Icon Cancer Centre will be officially opened next week.
The facility includes eight private oncology bays for patients to receive their chemo treatment.
Mildura Private Hospital says it also has a radiation oncology bunker, which has concrete walls up to 2.1 meters thick.

The hospital says it’ll house a machine aimed at delivering radiation therapy treatments for all cancers.
