New research has shown cost savings in the wine grape industry by cutting crop levels while still maintaining vine health.
Research by South Australia and New South Wales authorities with Wine Australia has revealed using a plant growth regulator reduced crop loads, however maintained healthy foliage.
The new trial is seen as a means of reducing costs in the short team amid oversupply issues but having flexibility in the long term.
