Mildura Rural City Council is holding an International Women’s Day Community Event.
You can join in the community celebration at Powerhouse Place this Friday from 5:30pm.
Food and refreshments will be available, live music from local rising girls and women on the outdoor stage hosted by Andrea Soebardi, art activities including badge making and Girls and Women’s Mural Project and the Children’s Art for Social Change Exhibition is continuing.
At 8.30pm Movie Night starts with a free screening of ‘I Am Woman’.
Council is encouraging attendees to take your own chair, blanket or bean bag and enjoy the film in the Yennaga Janji outdoor gathering space.
Mozzie repellent is also advised.
No bookings are needed.
