Victoria’s north-west has one of the lowest business failure rates in the state.
The Business Risk Index by CreditorWatch shows the current failure rate for the north-west is at three-point-five-seven per cent, with the forecast failure rate to rise to four-point-zero-eight per cent.
That’s an increase of just over half a per cent.

It says businesses in regional areas lean towards lower risk industries such as agriculture and healthcare.
