Local sporting groups are being encouraged to apply for new grants that are currently open.
Mildura MP Jade Benham says funding of up to five-thousand dollars is available for equipment, upskilling and travel costs.
She says the grants could help many in the region who need additional support.
Previous recipients of funding through the program includes several local clubs covering a variety of sports, including Mildura Bowls Club, Mildura Croquet Club, Zagreb Irymple Knights Soccer Club, Ouyen Mallee Motorcycle Club Incorporated, Mildura Football Netball Club Inc, Red Cliffs Croquet Club Inc, Mildura Roller Derby League, Mildura Swimming Club, Sunraysia District Scouts, Millewa Cricket Club and Sunraysia Hockey Association Inc.
