The Dr Julie Zrna Centre is getting closer to opening, with management looking to have the cancer accommodation facility for rural patients projecting it to open in July.
The announcement comes as Mildura Health Foundation reaches their five-million-dollar fundraising goal.
Ten apartments are under construction, close to both public and private hospitals, as well as the Mildura Health Icon Cancer Centre.
