Delays in patients being reimbursed under the Victorian Patient Transport Assistance Scheme are being called unacceptable by a local politician.
The scheme is aimed at helping rural Victorians with accommodation and travel costs when traveling more than one-hundred kilometres one-way for specialist medical care.
However Member for Mildura Jade Benham says she’s heard of payments taking several months.
