Locals of a Mildura street want a locked gate on the local walkway.
Mildura councillors will this week look at the petition that calls for the gate on the walkway between Hood Court and the Old Aero Ovals to have a lock installed.
Locals say the court is for vehicle traffic and isn’t safe for cyclists or pedestrians.
They’re also worried about criminal activity including theft and vandalism around the walkway at the end of the court.
The council meets tomorrow.
