Poor service reported since 3G shutdown

Rural Australians have been reporting poor service or total black outs since the 3G network was shut down.

Telcos started shutting down the ageing network last October, with Federal Member for Mallee Anne Webster raising concerns about agricultural machinery relying on 3G at the time.

Farmers were also concerned at the timing late last year coinciding with harvest and bushfire seasons, but the telcos say their coverage has either expanded or stayed the same.
