The PS Melbourne will be heading to Wentworth for some maintenance works, with passengers able to jump on board for the one-off seven and a half hour journey.

The iconic paddle steamer has been refurbished and returned to cruising for the first time in nearly five years on New Year’s Day.

It will leave Mildura this morning for the trip to Wentworth Wharf where it will undergo some running repairs including having its cast-iron gears replaced by a nylon gear drive.
