Murray Mallee Police have detected six drivers behaving poorly over the weekend, including two in the Riverland.
On Sunday 23 March, Berri police stopped a Ford sedan on Balfour Ogily Avenue, Loxton North for a roadside screening test. The driver a 39-year-old man from Loxton returned a positive result for illicit drugs. He was issued a three-month immediate loss of licence and may face further charges pending forensic analysis.
And on Monday 24 March, police stopped a Mazda sedan on Lean Street, Berri. The driver a 25-year-old Berri woman was submitted to a roadside screening test. She returned a positive result and issued a three-month immediate loss of licence and may be summonsed to court pending results of forensic analysis.
