Are you enrolled to vote?

With the Federal Election campaign now officially underway, residents across the country have until 8:00pm on Monday, April 7^th to enrol to vote.

All Australian citizens aged 18 years and over are required to enrol and vote in the election.

Locals are also being encouraged to check their details are up-to-date on the electoral roll before the deadline, especially if they’ve recently moved address.

Other important dates for the 2025 Federal Election:

Close of rolls: 8:00pm, Monday April 7^th

Close of nominations: Midday, Friday April 11^th

Start of early voting: Tuesday April 22^nd

Close of postal vote applications: 6:00pm Wednesday April 30^th

Election Day: Saturday May 3^rd
