Are you enrolled to vote?

With the Federal Election campaign now officially underway, residents across the country have until 8:00pm on Monday, April 7th to enrol to vote.

All Australian citizens aged 18 years and over are required to enrol and vote in the election.

Locals are also being encouraged to check their details are up-to-date on the electoral roll before the deadline, especially if they’ve recently moved address.

Other important dates for the 2025 Federal Election:

Close of rolls: 8:00pm, Monday April 7th

Close of nominations: Midday, Friday April 11th

Start of early voting: Tuesday April 22nd

Close of postal vote applications: 6:00pm Wednesday April 30th

Election Day: Saturday May 3rd
