Contractors commenced sealing the first 13 kilometre section of Arumpo Road on Monday 18 November 2024.
The 24.52km section of road upgrades include 2 x 100mm sub base layers with 25 pieces of plant utilised on the project.
Works commenced in June 2024 and are expected to be completed in March 2025.

Funding consists of $5 million (Australian Government) and $1.25 million (NSW Government).
