It’ll be eyes on the sky today, as aircraft start arriving for the annual AusFly event at Wentworth Aerodrome.
The airshow will be on tomorrow and Saturday, which is also the community day, with organisers saying there’ll be something for everyone as well as flying displays.
Wentworth mayor Daniel Linklater says it’s a great boost for the local economy.
“We are thrilled to welcome back the AusFly Community Day once again,” he says.
“This event not only showcases the incredible world of aviation but also brings our community together.
Sport Aircraft Association of Australia president Myles Breitkreutz says the airshow will be fun for the whole family as the event always seemed to wow people regardless of age or gender.
“AusFly’s Community Day is all about inspiring the next generation of aviators and bringing people together to share their passion for flight,” he said.
“Whether you’re an experienced pilot or simply curious about aviation, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
AusFly 2025 Community Day, Saturday, 15 March 2025, Wentworth Aerodrome, gates open: 10:30am to 4:00pm.
