A Broken Hill man is due in court next month on animal cruelty charges.
Police say they became aware over the weekend of videos allegedly depicting cruelty acts on social media.
Following a joint investigation by officers attached to Barrier Police District and the Rural Crime Prevention Team, police executed a search warrant at a house in Broken Hill at 4.00pm Tuesday, and a 21-year-old man was arrested during a search of a home on Tuesday afternoon.

He’s been issued with a notice to face court on five counts of animal cruelty.
