Calls for urgent action on Murray Darling health

Environment Victoria has joined other conservation groups in calling for urgent action to bring the Murray Darling to health.

They’ve used the ten-year anniversary of the basin plan to call for action to restore the river system.

There are concerns for the river system, with the groups releasing a five-point-plan setting out a vision of how to restore the Basin to health.

Jono La Nauzo from Environment Victoria says that includes water buybacks.
