Chickens have been rescued from the recent floods across Wentworth.
The local Council’s now holding an adoption drive, hoping to find the birds at the Buronga Animal Shelter new homes.
Anyone interested can head to the shelter next Wednesday afternoon for information and to pick up the birds, which the Shire says are suitable for PETS only.
