Commonwealth fee rises to impact local customers

Some Mildura Commonwealth Bank customers will soon be charged three-dollars to withdraw their own money.

Locals who have a ‘complete access’ account with the bank will be shifted to ‘smart access’ accounts, which includes a fee if they take money out at bank branches, post offices or by phone.

There are exemptions including pensioners and those under 18.

The bank has branches in Mildura and Robinvale.
