Concerns have been raised over the state of firefighting trucks in the region.
United Firefighters Union has raised the issue, saying Mildura lost its Aerial pumper before losing another truck over the weekend.
It meant there was only one multi-storey capable appliance available between Bendigo and the South Australian border last Friday night.

The union said that had a ripple effect on coverage for the Mildura community.
