Not-for-profit organisations are encouraged to apply for the latest round of Volunteer Grants from the Commonwealth Government, with a focus this year on supporting under 18’s.
Farrer MP Sussan Ley says nominations are welcome from any group developing the physical or social wellbeing of local children, such as football and netball clubs right through to scouts or girl guides.
“Funding amounts of between $1,000 and $5,000 are available for a worthy applicant, part of $10m in capped funding going to every part of Australia.”
“It can help your group purchase things like new tech or communication tools, much needed equipment, training and transport costs, storage, work tools, volunteer screening checks or even insurance cover.”
It is recommended you carefully check the associated grant guidelines before submitting an EOI by the deadline of 5pm Friday 17 January.
Successful applicants will receive funding from mid-2025.
