The Member for Mallee has spoken in Federal Parliament for the first time since Network Ten was switched off from televisions across the region.
Sunraysia locals lost access to Channel Ten on Sunday and Anne Webster says the government needs to step in.
Dr. Webster also spoke in the House of Representatives about the Government’s move to enable Mildura and Sunraysia residents to continue accessing Channel Ten through an estimated $800 satellite dish installation.
In her speech the local Member contrasted former Minister Conroy’s announcement on the PS Mundoo in 2010 in Mildura that the region was the first to switch ON the digital signal.
