Local families heading away for a Christmas camping trip will be able to book free sites.
The Victorian Government has made camping free in every state forest and national park, including the Lake Hattah and Lake Mournpall Camping areas.
Labor says almost 100-thousand nights of free camping have already been booked around the state.

The initiative is now running until the end of June.
Tourism Minister Steve Dimipolous says it’s hoped to boost regional tourism.
