Grape growers and others in the industry have had a look at the propagation process of the new Murray Bold variety.
Dried Fruits Australia says some growers will be planting the variety in coming weeks, with grafted vines in the coolroom ready to go into the ground.
Around eight-and-a-half thousand vines are expected to be planted this year with about twenty-four thousand forecast to be available next year.
CEO Thomas Cheung says “They are looking very promising with developed, healthy and strong root systems.”
