Local police have arrested a man after a search warrant turned up a commercial quantity of methylamphetamine.
Members from Mildura’s Divisional Response and Crime Investigation Units found around half a kilogram of the drug while searching the property last Thursday, which has an estimated street value of over 250 thousand dollars.
The execution of the search warrant wrapped up a local investigation into alleged drug trafficking.
The 39 year old Mildura man charged with traffic large commercial quantity of methylamphetamine, possess methylamphetamine, knowingly deal proceeds of crime, and fail to comply with a court direction.
He’s been remanded to face court in May, facing up to 25 years in prison.
