Mildura Rural City Council is asking for community feedback on the Draft Gender Equality and Preventing Family Violence Strategy.
The four year plan is targeted at causing lasting change within council and across the broader community.
Key points include the creation of policies and systems to uphold gender equality in everyday work, working with partners to create a community where people of all genders are thriving free from discrimination and violence, and the development of a workforce committed to preventing family violence.
