Dementia Australia’s new Brain Hub initiative is headed our way, supported by the Mildura Rural City Council in order to connect locals with support and education services.
It kicks off today, with an information stand open from 10:00am to 12:00pm at The Alfred Deakin Centre, also running tomorrow and Wednesday.
On Thursday the initiative moves to Powerhouse Place, running Brain Stations to showcase local service providers.
They’ll also be running the Dementia Australia Day Program, focused on education and information from advocates on how to create a dementia-friendly community.
