Lifeline needs support

Mildura’s Lifeline is after volunteers.

A recruitment drive is underway, with locals at Mildura Central hoping to get people involved.

There’s a call centre in Irymple, first opened in March, needing people to help those with crisis support.

Anyone wanting more information about joining the local team of 20 can head to the Lifeline Loddon Mallee Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/lifelinelm or their website https://lifelinelm.org.au/volunteer-process

Volunteers need only give three hours a week to make a difference.

For every person who trains to be a Lifeline volunteer 60 people benefit.
