A local footballer has been named in the AFL National Academy squad.
Wentworth’s Sam Cumming is part of the boys squad for next year.
The teenager is currently playing for North Adelaide in the SANFL.

Academy manager Tarkyn Lockyer congratulated all who were selected, saying they’ve demonstrated elite football talent, and a commitment to further their skills on and off the field.
Sam was named the SANFL Under 18 MVP this year.
