Mallee Family Care needs to be included in the upcoming Victorian budget, according to local MP Jade Benham.
The Member for Mildura says a proposed Education First Youth Foyer project needs to be funded to help young people in the region, allowing those at risk to complete high school and further education.
“The work Mallee Family Care has done will improve the lives of numerous young people in the area and surrounding districts.
“By offering a supportive environment conducive to education and personal development, the proposed center holds the promise of transformative opportunities for youth in Mildura.
“The Government must endorse Mallee Family Care’s application for the establishment of the Education First Youth Foyer in Mildura,” said Ms Benham.
