The issue of scammers has been raised in Federal Parliament.
Member for Mallee Anne Webster spoke about 82-year-old Mildura resident, Emily, who was scammed out of more than one-hundred and fifty- thousand dollars.
The local MP has questioned whether Labor’s anti-scam legislation is protecting victims or banks.

Webster said the scammers who got into their computer claimed to be the authorities.
Emily will have the money returned.
