Mildura Rural City Council may not go ahead with a proposal to have a public toilet facility in Merbein South.
A report to this week’s council meeting recommends the city NOT proceed with the planning and cost of converting the Merbein South Community Hall toilets for public use.
It says there are minimal environmental and social benefits by having the facility open to the public, with other public toilets nearby.
