A new all-wheel drive stretcher ambulance is being trialled by Mildura paramedics to help them reach areas regular ambulances can’t get to such as rough trails, farmland, driveways and complex locations.
The Mildura branch of Ambulance Victoria has been equipped with a new Mercedes Sprinter vehicle, saying it’ll provide them with new capabilities.
The ambulance has an increased height, ensuring paramedics and patients can get into and out of the vehicle safely.
