Petition to remove trees to be considered tonight

A petition to remove plane trees on a local street will be considered by Mildura Rural City Council councillors at tonight’s meeting.

The document contains 14 signatures to remove the trees from Plane Tree Drive.

The trees are native to areas including North America and Asia, and are known for having scaling bark, however plane trees are fast growing and provide substantial shade.

Council’s January meeting is tonight, tune in live from 5.30pm.
