With autumn settling in across the north-west of Victoria, locals are being advised they may see smoke in the area as a mixed of planned and private burns take place.
Mildura and Swan Hill are still under fire restrictions but the CFA says it’s starting to issue permits to farmers to burn crop stubble.
However the CFA is advising locals to ensure they have permission from authorities before holding any burn-off.
