Preparations are underway ahead of the Victorian Long Course Country Swimming Championships this weekend.
The event is being held this weekend at the Mildura Waves outdoor pool over Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Mildura Rural City Council is expecting the event to generate close to one million dollars for the local economy, with around 3,000 athletes and supporters from across the state converging on the region.

800 country swimmers will compete in 108 events over the three-day championships.
