Water bill increases

Water bills have increased across Victoria including in the north-west.

Figures from the Essential Services Commission’s Water Performance Report shows homeowners within the Lower Murray Water area paid around one-thousand and seventy four dollars in the last financial year.

That’s compared to nine-hundred and thirty nine dollars the previous 12 months.

In average across the state of Victoria, Barwon Water home owners $1143 in 23/24, compared to $1043 the previous 12 months – an increase of $100, Central Highlands Water home owners $1296 for 23/24, compared to $1214 in 22/23 – an increase of $82 and Coliban Water homeowners $1455 in 23/23, compared to $1326 in 22/23 – an increase of $129.
